i know these bones
are ancient
i carry a magic, love, & light
all my own;
it cannot be taken from me
though many have tried
i cannot be killed either
just resurrect myself from the ashes
of chaos and fashion myself into
a new being
because life is a series of deaths & rebirths
making us as immortal as the phoenix
of the flames.
